Miss Jerisha is the Founder and Director of Jewel Dance Academy. She is a graduate of Alabama State University, where she obtained her degree in Theater Arts with a concentration in dance. Jerisha is professionally trained in ballet, jazz, modern –contemporary, and acrobatics. She danced as a Stingette in 2009 - 2012, and also received the opportunity to assist the 2020 Official Stingettes. Jerisha is a former 5 year NFL Cheerleading Captain for the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and Miss GA for America 2020-2021, representing the state of Georgia.

Professionally, she works as a Program Coordinator for the Department of Recreation & Cultural Arts in College Park, Ga. Jerisha enjoys working with people of all cultures and backgrounds and focuses on personal growth, community service, and well-being for all. She is very passionate about the youth and helping others build self-esteem and confidence. Jerisha's most prized possessions are indeed her SHINING JEWELS!
